Takase Yuki (Shinohara Ryoko), 31, works as editor in a small company that publish free papers. She is in charge of the opening article of a new free paper since she's the one who has given the main idea. With her assistant, Fujishima Rei (Kuriyama Chiaki), part-time clerk, they go around Shiodome (it's in Tokyo) to find and interview women to hear their story : how beautiful and active women can find a balance between work and love.

This drama is centered around the story of two of them, who are lead to meet Yuki and Rei more than once. Komori Hazuki (Nakagoshi Noriko) is the manager of a cafe she runs since it has opened. She is the first female manager of this brand. She's dating a man older than her who's highly placed in an advertisement company. Ishikawa Eriko (Igawa Haruka) works in the same advertisment company and is in charge of an event for the launch of a new fashion brand. She was in the same high school as Yuki. She always says that she's too busy with her work to date a man.
